PDF Sewing Tutorial – Felt Artwork: I decided to challenge myself by making a neckline appliqué artwork by hand and share it with the world! For this project I decided to use only 100% wool felt. Of course you can go crazy with all sorts of materials, but do not underestimated the difficulty of cutting some little felt flowers and hearts. It’s harder then it looks!

My craving to become a superhero knitter started already a few months ago, when working for the Dutch Etsy Community. During my time at Etsy, I’ve met so many Dutch wonderful crafty knitters, that I couldn’t help but getting infected with the knitting bug. Next to that, my mother, grandmother and mother in law all seem to possess the knitting super power, so I was hoping that this skill was also within my grasp.

Yes! Finally my first ever downloadable pdf sewing pattern for a DIY project is ready! And even better, it is free! Making a sewing pattern for a stuffed animal was the first thing that came to mind. So I asked my friends and family what kind of animal they thought I should make. To my surprise, they all mentioned the same animal: a hamster!
